Juan Luis is a writer with an eye for compelling narratives. As an NYU Alumnus for the Creative Writing Masters, he’s a published author and journalist, with works recognized in Latin America and in Magazines such as Temporales, IQ Latino, and Vice Mexico. Throughout the years he’s received many awards for his fiction and poetry works, and he is currently the Associate Editor at the New-York based publication ViceVersa, a platform for Hispanic-driven content in the United States.
Spearheading our Original Stories division, The Vert, Juan Luis has an eye for creating engaging stories for broad and multicultural audiences. He’s currently working on a documentary adaptation to the book “The Twelve Poorest Mexicans”, with a mix of investigative journalism and compiling powerful testimony from the lives of the individuals in the book and the journalists profiling them.
